Main characters
Madoka
A kind third-year student who loves flowers and small animals. Despite having a huge potential to become a magical girl, she chose not to contract and remained as an ordinary human. Her relationship with Homura is such that they frequently stay over at each other’s place, which is currently her favorite thing to do.
Homura
A cool, calm third-year student who has amazing grades and looks. She saved Madoka from her fate to Walpurgis, and continued to live in Mitakihara. In any case, she loves Madoka dearly, but since she’s a bit awkward she can’t express it well.
Sayaka
A spirited and boyish third-year student who is a maiden at heart. Although she nearly despaired from shouldering a harsh fate in exchange for a wish, Kyouko’s encouragement kept her going, and cooperated with Homura to fight Walpurgis. Since then, she has emotionally matured, and by accepting Hitomi and Kyousuke’s relationship their friendship strengthened.
Hitomi
A refined third-year student who speaks eloquently. She is addicted with observing a certain couple’s relationship and activities. Her favorite authors are Nobuko Yoshiya and Kyōka Izumi.
